Hand-harvested in the cool of the night, the Poacher's Ridge Marsanne is crushed, de-stemmed with the pressings kept separate, fined and blended back to the free run juice. This process creates beautiful, maximum flavors!
You'll find apples, citrus (grapefruit) and green pear with an underlying hint of oak. The acid structure is crisp and the fresh fruit flavours persist in the finish.
A great white wine for the cellaer, the Marsanne develops phenomenal characters over time. I've enjoyed an aged Marsanne from this estate before and its extremely juicy with a succulent honeysuckle flavour! So you can drink it now or cellar for 10+ years!
